Details of the scheme of JPDEPC Export Awards 2019-20

Categories for Export Awards
The eligibility criteria and terms/ conditions for grant of awards for the Year 2019-20 are given below:-
  1. The base period for considering the awards would be the export performance during F.Y. 2019-20. The scheme of awards is open to those who are member of the Council under the Export Import Policy of the Government of India. The applicant must have paid JPDEPC subscription for the years 2019-20 and 2020-21.
  2. Applications for grant of Export Awards will be considered subject to the condition that nothing adverse about the business dealing of the applicant has come to the notice of the Council and/ or other authorities.
  3. Items of exports for grant of Export Awards include all type of Jute Products.
  4. Export performance should include only those exports which have been reflected in the name of the applicant / company.
  5. Export performance should include the value of only those manufactured products which are exported from Indian soil. The Chartered Accountant's Certificate should clearly specify this.
  6. No application for Export Awards would be considered if the application form are not properly filled-in and incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. Applications received after the due date is also liable to be rejected.
  7. Each application will be considered for the award in the Categories under the scheme and hence complete details should be given and each column of the application should be filled up
  8. The export figures are to be given by the exporters in terms of FOB value of exports on the actual exports affected during the financial year 2019-20. Only direct exports will be taken into account for the purpose of selection of export awards.
  9. FOB value of exports should be value of exports excluding commission paid /payable to overseas agents / importers only should be shown. The exporters will have to produce a Chartered Accountant's Certificate certifying that the figures provided by the applicant were verified and found to be corrected by them.
  10. The Award will be selected purely on facts & figure submitted by applicant. The decision of award will be final as selected by council basis of above facts & figure.
  11. The applicant will be eligible for one award only.

All applications for Export Awards should be forwarded only to the Head Office of the Council so as to reach latest by 15th January 2022 . Applications received thereafter may not be considered tor award.

Declaration:

The export figures quoted by the exporter/ applicant are for the year 2019-20 (i.e. 01.04.19 to 31.03.20) and are based on actual exports covered by the bills of landing / airway bills/ post parcel receipts (as the case may be) of dates between 01.04.19 and 31.03.20.

The exchange rate calculated for arriving at the FOB value is as per the Bank Certificate of exports and commission paid / payable to overseas agents have been deducted while arriving at the above FOB value exports.
